HISTORY

Mazi-1

Formed in 2009, the Cardinelles cheerleading squad is new on the scene in the world of British Cheerleading. Their role is to provide gameday entertainment for the crowd at Ipswich Cardinal home games, this includes cheers throughout the game and a halftime dance routine to keep the crowd pumped up. They also take part in community events such as the BBC's Sport Relief, to help further raise the clubs profile.

Still only a young squad, it is hoped that with new girls joining the squad will eventually compete for honours in national cheerleading competitions.

The squad is coached by Kerrianne Crane who is a fully qualified Level 4 BCA Coach.

Cardinelles Cheerleader Marie has made it through to the finals of the 2012 Ipswich Calendar Girls competition,
